在不久前的锐龙7 9700X/锐龙5 9600X评测当中我们发现,虽然默认状态下锐龙7 9700X的单线程性能比锐龙7 7700X提升了10%,但前者受制于65W的TDP功耗限制,导致它与上一代的多线程性能十分接近, 需要通过开启PBO才能体现出真正的实力,而拥有相同TDP的锐龙5 9600X和锐龙5 7600,它们的多线程性能差距则符合预期。结合我们CPU天梯榜的数据来看,锐龙5 7600X同样也是吃了TDP更高的红利。
近日,有网友爆料称,AMD将会在AGESA 1.2.0.1a Patch A版本的BIOS中把锐龙5 9600X和锐龙7 9700X的默认功耗限制从TDP的65W放宽至105W。如果真是这样,那么使用这两款新品的用户在做好CPU散热的前提下,能够默认获得更好的性能表现。
在AIDA64 FPU烤机测试中,锐龙5 9600X和锐龙7 9700X在开启PBO前后,功耗分别是88W和113.4W/140W。再结合CineBench R23的成绩来看,预计锐龙5 9600X的TDP提升至105W后,将会有着与PBO相近的表现,而锐龙7 9700X则会超过锐龙7 7700X,实际表现介乎于默认与开启PBO之间,解决了默认情况下锐龙7 9700X可能不如锐龙7 7700X的问题。
